Prince has been confirmed as the headliner for the 2014 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. Set to take place July 3rd – 6th, it’ll mark Prince’s first appearance at the festival since 2004. The rest of Essence’s 2014 lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.
Currently, the only other shows on Prince’s docket are a trio of Christmastime performances in Uncasville, Connecticut.
