After playing the festival circuit and releasing the ferocious summer cut “Are You Satisfied?”, Canadian blues artist Jordan Cook, a.k.a Reignwolf, returns with a new sizzling standalone single. Titled “In The Dark”, it’s a fiery thumper that was recorded at Ani DiFranco’s New Orleans home studio with her husband/engineer Mike “Nappy” Napolitano, while Reignwolf was in town for the Voodoo Music Festival.

“‘In the Dark’ was inspired by a 13th-century Romanian novel, and was written in the basement of a home in Saskatchewan during the dead of winter, with temperatures reaching 37 below, and the entire town without power for nine straight days,” Cook told Rolling Stone.
