Megadeth have a challenger for the most oddball Christmas carol of the season: as Pitchfork points out, Arcade Fire appear in the latest episode of Zach Galifianakis’ web show “Between Two Ferns”. With Samuel L. Jackson and Tobey Maguire looking on, the band unveiled their off-kilter version of “Little Drummer Boy”, complete with red smoker jackets and Régine Chassagne’s deafening shrieks. For his part, Win Butler embodied his inner James Dean, at one point even lighting up a cigarette. It’s all very weird. Watch below.
