With Christmas just days away, El-P and Killer Mike, a.k.a. Run The Jewels, ring in the festivities early by releasing their music video for “A Christmas Fucking Miracle”. Director Joey Garfield has created something of a smorgasbord of holiday mainstays: there’s the duo posing for Christmas photos in hideous sweater vests; Mike as the rap game Ebenezer Scrooge to El-P’s pitiful Tiny Tim; another round of dress-up as a curmudgeonly Santa and elf; and even Mr. Killums the squirrel with a rather, um, inspired recreation of the Nativity scene. The whole thing will either warm the cockles of your heart with anticipation for the joyous day or make you want to down some “special” eggnog and sleep through every depressive yuletide moment. Merry Christmas, every one!

As noted, Run The Jewels are releasing a deluxe “European edition” of their excellent self-titled debut on January 13th through Big Dada. It features all-new artwork, as well as three bonus tracks: “Pew Pew Pew”, a remix of “Sea Legs” by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, and a remix of “36″ Chain” by hip-hop duo Blue Sky Black Death.
