I won’t say any names (cough coughella), but there are some festivals that don’t give an advance notice for their lineup announcement. I’m all for a good surprise, but I also value the very little sleep that I get. Bonnaroo, on the other hand, is kind of enough to give us a heads up, and a month’s worth at that.
The 2014 lineup announcement — or, as Bonnaroo refers to it, BLAM: Bonnaroo Lineup Announcement Megathon — is set for Wednesday, February 19th. No details on how this year’s roll-out will work, but last year the festival had “Weird Al” Yankovic rattle off confirmed artists.
