Chromeo has shared another track from their upcoming album, White Women, in the form of “Come Alive” featuring Toro y Moi’s Chaz Bundick. The track doesn’t stray too far from Chromeo’s traditional space funk formula, though Bundick’s guest vocals are proving to be a genuine addition. Given “Over Your Shoulder”, “Sexy Socialite”, and now this… they might need to give him his own Chromeo-inspired pseudonym, too. We recommend: Bundick 8.
The followup to 2010′s Business Casual, Chromeo has promised White Women to be “Better, Funkier, Poppier, Catchier, Happier.” In addition to Bundick, it features Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig, Solange Knowles, and LCD Soundsystem’s Pat Mahoney.
In support of the release, Chromeo has mapped out a North American tour for this Spring, and it certainly looks like Coachella will be part of that itinerary. See the full docket below.
