Today, Boston punk outfit Grass Is Green will kick off their month-long East Coast tour with Speedy Ortiz. Along with cuts off their last release, 2012’s Ronson, Grass Is Green will likely showcase new material off their forthcoming LP, Vacation Vinny, officially due out on January 14th through Exploding In Sound. Spanning 10 tracks, the album was recorded in Brooklyn with Julian Fader and Carlos Hernandez of Gravesend Recordings/Ava Luna.
Already we’ve heard the record’s crunchy closing track “Vacation 2.0” and the deranged dreaminess of “Sammy So-Sick”. Now, noise-riddled melodies reign supreme on the thick and stupefying party cut, “Big Dog Tee Shirt Birthday Weekend”. Tune in below (via Diffuser).
