On January 28th, Brooklyn indie-pop trio Hospitality reveal their sophomore album, Trouble, via Merge Record. Our first listen, November’s “I Miss Your Bones”, operated on high levels of energy, transforming from frenetic rocker to expansive psych-jam in under four minutes. Now, on “Rockets and Jets”, the three-piece are looking to take things slow, settling into a glum, low-key mood soundtracked by foreboding synths and Amber Papini’s smoky, mischievous croon. Either they’re up to no good, or they know something’s lurking just around the bend. Listen in below.
