Watch: Trentemøller’s video for “Gravity”, starring Inside Llewyn Davis’ Oscar Isaac

Actor Oscar Isaac drew accolades for his portrayal of a hitchhiking folk singer in the Coen brothers’ new film, Inside Llewyn Davis. Now, he once again finds himself playing a character desperately in need of a ride as he stars in the video for Trentemøller’s “Gravity”, which features Lower Dens frontwoman Jana Hunter.

Directed by Tue Walin Storm and Elvira Lind, the clip sees Isaac offer a “carpool service”, charging $10 dollars a ride to Los Angeles drivers so they have access to the near-magical HOV lane. Along the way, he’s forced to ride around on some of America’s worst roads with a stoner, a muscleman, and a crazed businessman, though there’s a bright spot with a lady in a Mercedes Benz. If nothing else, it’ll make some of you truly appreciate your MetroCard. Buckle up and watch it below.

“Gravity” is off Trentemøller’s third album, Lost, out now via In My Room.
