Billy Joel continued his Madison Square Garden residency on Friday night. The concert included the live debut of 1982’s “Surprises” and a cover of The Beatles’ “A Hard Days Night”, but the real surprise came when Joel invited AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson to the stage to perform “You Show Me All Night Long”.

Joel has long covered AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell” in concert and previously performed the song live with Johnson. However, last night marked the first time in 12 years that the two ’70s rock gods shared the stage, and also marked Johnson’s first live appearance since AC/DC’s Black Ice tour in 2010. Watch the footage below.

AC/DC previously announced plans to record a new album to coincide with the band’s 40th anniversary in 2014. Meanwhile, Joel is recording a duets album with Jimmy Fallon. Maybe.
