For fans of Drake, Christmas has come eight months early. For the second time this week, Drizzy has unveiled a brand new song. Following Tuesday’s premiere of “Draft Day”, he’s now shared the studio version of “Days in the East”, the song he previously debuted live in concert last month.
It’s a slow-burning love song, apparently dedicated to his girlfriend Rihanna (the song even samples Rihanna’s “Stay” at one point). It was produced by frequent collaborators Noah “40” Shebib and PartyNextDoor. Listen below.
It’s unclear if this is a leftover from Drake’s latest LP Nothing Was the Same (similar to December’s “Trophies”) or taken from an entirely different project, though he has reportedly already begun work on his next album. For even more new music, check out his recent remix of Soulja Boy’s “We Made It”.
