Pussy Riot have rallied against social injustices in almost every way possible, making their voices heard through countless mediums: historic protests, human rights benefits, in-depth interviews, and even daytime TV. Now, they have a new platform to speak from: Twitter. The feminist punk band officially joined the social media network earlier this week.

Although both Nadya Tolokonnikova and Masha Alekhina have technically operated their own individual profiles for awhile now, this new Twitter account (@pussyrrriot) represents Pussy Riot as a whole and will be conducted entirely in English.

Since launching on Monday, they’ve RT’d and linked to a number of relevant photos and news stories. And while English may not be the group’s native tongue, given some of their witty tweets (like the one below), something tells me it won’t be long before they’ve mastered the language.
