Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are returning this summer for 22 Jump Street, the sequel to 2012’s 21 Jump Street. To help soundtrack the comedic duo’s latest antics, Angel Haze has been tapped for the film’s new fist pump-worthy theme song.

While the CoSigned rapper has given us a host of ferocious flows in the past (see her debut LP Dirty Gold, her “30 Gold” covers series), “22 Jump Street” is cut from quite a different cloth. A full-blown EDM assault, complete with lasers, drops, the whole nine yards, it’s an interesting number for the young hip-hop prodigy. Maybe it doesn’t pack as many smoldering rhymes, but it does serve as Haze’s big step forward into the blockbuster movie world and, hey, it features an unlikely sidekick in Ludacris and sure as hell will get your adrenaline going

“The theme song was so rad to make,” Haze told Vibe of the collaboration. “In the studio the energy of the movie fueled us to really create something special that matches the energy on screen.”
