According to the Boston Globe, nearly 40 people who attended tonight’s Avicii concert at Boston’s TD Garden have been hospitalized after consuming a “dangerous substance.”
Update: 36 people were transported to an area hospital, while over 50 others were treated at the scene.
Of the hospitalized, many are described to be minors. Police officials deemed the situation a “mass casualty event,” as more than seven ambulances were called to the scene. All of the patients’ symptoms are considered minor.
Last month, 29 attendees of Avicii’s concert in Toronto were hospitalized for drug or alcohol-related illnesses.
