Less than 10 months removed from the release of his debut solo album, Harlem River, Kevin Morby returns with a brand new 7-inch via Suicide Squeeze Records. The Babies and Woods member debuted the delicate A-side “My Name” last month, and now he returns with the gorgeous instrumental B-side entitled “We Did It All Wrong”.

Even without vocal accompaniment, the folk song’s contemplative poignancy is undeniable. Morby’s mix of warm, genteel strumming and careful-yet-glowing guitar-work tells a wistful tale all on its own — a story of regret, remorse, and an unshakable yearning to go back and fix what’s broken.
