Listen: Simian Mobile Disco’s new song “Dervish”

U.K. electronic duo Simian Mobile Disco have unveiled “Dervish”, the latest track from their fourth studio album, Whorl, due out on September 9th via ANTI- Records.

As the pair recently told Rolling Stone, the especially quirky tune, marked by the oddish warmth of vintage synth tones, dub-esque drums, and glitchy effects, is “probably one of the more overtly techno tracks on the record. It’s the most dance-floor orientated, especially compared to some of the more ambient tracks on there.”
