For the last few years, Arcade Fire’s Win Butler has hosted an annual charity basketball game pinning musicians against college basketball players. Coinciding with the Pop Montreal music festival, year’s Pop Vs. Jock game will take place on September 20th at the McGill University Sports Centre.

Team Pop’s lineup includes Win and his brother Will, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, The Strokes’ Nikolai Fraiture, and former and current NBA players (respectively) Brent Barry and Matt Bonner.

Tickets are now available through Pop Montreal’s website. All proceeds will be donated to DJ Sports Club, a non-profit charity organization in Montréal’s south-west borough that offers programs in sports and education to youth 7 to 17 years old.
