Pop All Star Band — the supergroup featuring Arcade Fire’s Win and Will Butler, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, and The Strokes’ Nikolai Fraiture — performed their the first and only concert in Montreal today, and did not disappoint.

The one-off performance took place at halftime of Pop Vs. Jock, the annual charity basketball game organized by the Butler brothers. With assistance from Régine Chassagne and other members of Arcade Fire, they performed covers of Phil Collins’ “In The Air Tonight” and The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army”. Watch a pair of fan-shot videos below.

In addition to the halftime show, Chassagne, Kid Koala, and A-Trak provided in-game music, including a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”.

The Butler brothers, Vernon, and Fraiture also showed off their skills on the court as members of Team Pop, alongside former and current NBA players. They faced off up against Team Jock, comprised of college basketball players, but they proved to be little match against Win’s mighty jumper. Team Pop ended up winning the game by the score of 101 – 92.
