This Saturday, Arcade Fire’s Win and Will Butler will host their annual charity basketball game, Pop Vs. Jock, at the McGill University Sports Centre in Montreal.
Matched up against college basketball players, Team Pop will feature a lineup of Win and Will, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, The Strokes’ Nikolai Fraiture, as well as former and current NBA players.
Turns out the Butler brothers, Vernon, and Fraiture will also serve as their own in-game entertainment. According to Arcade Fire’s Twitter, they’ll team up for a one-time only performance as the Pop All Star Band, which presumably will take place at halftime.
Pop Vs. Jock will also feature DJ sets from A-Trak and Kid Koala. The official afterparty, meanwhile, will see Win Butler and LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy on the ones and twos.
Tickets to the game are available for purchase here and the afterparty here.
