Baths shares song “Disorderly” — listen

Los Angeles producer Will Wiesenfeld, aka Baths, hasn’t yet announced a proper follow-up to last year’s Obsidian, yet he’s hardly stayed out of the limelight. In January, he unveiled a remix of Grizzly Bear’s “Will Calls”, and released the Ocean Death EP this past May. Now, Baths turns his attention to yet another project, contributing a brand new song to What’s Good Los Angeles?, a forthcoming Friends of Friends/Vans compilation also featuring Dâm-Funk, Hodgy Beats, Jerome LOL, and Salva.

Entitled “Disorderly”, Wiesenfeld’s offering is a cool, ambient number that sees him reflecting on holidays full of “champagne on a terrace” and friends that will “drink and be merry.” It’s not nearly as chaotic as its title suggests, but its meandering, almost hypnotic arrangements are bound to stir up a few scattered thoughts in the ol’ noggin.
