Past recipients include Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Brian Wilson, Neil Young, Bono, Stevie Wonder, and Aretha Franklin.

Proceeds from the event will support for the MusiCares organization, which provides financial and medical help to musicians in need.

Never one to rest on his laurels, Dylan will soon release an anthology of The Basement Tapes and is also prepping a new studio album. That’s all while he gears up for a new US tour, which kicks off in mid-October.
