Charli XCX shares new release date and artwork for Sucker

Charli XCX’s highly-anticipated sophomore album, Sucker, has a new release date: December 16th via Neon Gold/Atlantic Records. The True Romance follow-up was originally slated to hit shelves on October 21st, but the 22-year-old pop star took to Twitter this morning to announce the album delay. She also revealed the album’s artwork, which you can see above.

In a series of tweets, Charli reassures that “nothing’s wrong” and that the “album’s done,” but cites the massive success of “Boom Clap” as one of the reasons she and her team need additional time to “launch the album properly.”
