A scary moment unfolded during Widespread Panic’s set at the Phases of the Moon Music Festival on Sunday when a fan rushed the stage and assaulted several members of the band and its crew.
As JamBase points out, the man jumped on stage during the band’s performance of “Bust It Big”. He began screaming and lunged at several different members of the band — at one point, he crashed into drummer Todd Nance’s kit and appeared to hit Nance in the face with his drum sticks.
According to JamBase, the concert was paused for several moments as members of the band went backstage to compose themselves. However, they were ultimately able to finish the set.
