This week, The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas returns with his sophomore solo record, Tyranny. On Tuesday night, he and his backing band, The Voidz, made their first television appearance in support of the LP with a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

There, they delivered an especially potent performance of album standout “Where No Eagles Fly”, complete with 1980s style wardrobe, hand dancing, and the singer’s signature howls. Afterward, Casablancas gave Fallon a kiss on the hand.

    Stay weird, Julian. Stay weird.

Tyranny is out now via Casablancas’ own Cult Records. You can stream it here.

Casablancas’ solo tour kicks off October 16th in Philadelphia, PA, and along the way includes support from Mac DeMarco and Shabazz Palaces. Consult the full schedule here.
