To go along with the recent archival reissues of his first three studio albums, M83’s Anthony Gonzalez has shared two lost music videos. The first was an intergalactic-themed spectacle for “Lower Your Eyelids to Die with the Sun”. Now, he’s shared the corresponding visuals for “In The Cold I’m Standing” from 2005’s Before the Dawn Heals Us.
Simple in concept yet stark with emotion, the video depicts a couple’s intimate embrace amidst a black backdrop. Watch below.
All previously out of print, reissues of 2001’s M83, 2004’s Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts, and 2005’s Before the Dawn Heals Us are now available in CD, vinyl, and digital formats through Mute Records. The reissues are accompanied by two compilations of rarities and B-sides: Dead Cities, Red Seas and Lost Ghosts Remixes and B-Sides and Before The Dawn Heals Us Remixes and B-Sides.
