Today, Animal Collective’s Noah Lennox, aka Panda Bear, has launched a new personal website, pbvsgr.com. The acronym found in the URL seems to confirm the long-rumored title of Lennox’s latest solo album, Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper.

To coincide with the site’s launch, Lennox has shared a new mixtape. The 40-minute mix primarily features mostly other acts’ songs, including Container’s “Glaze”, Silk Flowers’ “Small Fortune”, and a Laidback Luke remix of a Moodyman song. However, as several users on Reddit have pointed out, Lennox also peppered in snippets of his own new music. Part of a song tentatively titled “Fill Those Spaces” or “Nadir” can be found at 15:20, while another track titled either “Can’t Come Back” or “Tropic of Cancer” appears at the 28:05 mark.

Listen to the full mix here.

Serving as the follow-up to 2011’s Tomboy, Grim Reaper has been described as “break-centric” and influenced by hip-hop producer 9th wonder, featuring tracks “constructed out of samples of self-made sounds” and is “meant as a celebration of the fact that new growth sometimes requires death.” Lennox reportedly teamed with friend and longtime collaborator Sonic Boom on the LP.
