Parquet Courts are the latest act to contribute to Famous Class’ 7-inch charity series, Less Artists More Condos. Entitled “This Is Happening Now”, it’s a shambolic, slightly twangy jam that blends the abstract vibe of Talking Heads with the technique and delivery style of Television. Coming so close after the release of Sunbathing Animal, its obviously quite similar aesthetically; however, this manic little number shows a bit more precision and self-awareness than the full record.

The split 7-inch is available now via Bandcamp, and comes backed by a single from fellow Brooklynites Future Punx. All proceeds go to benefit the Ariel Panero Memorial Fund at VH1 Save The Music.
In related news, Parquet Courts recently announced a new round of US tour dates. There’s a catch: For a majority of the shows, they’ll team with New York band PC Worship to form a supergroup called PCPC.
