Philadelphia-based punk outfit Restorations is returning with its third studio album, LP3, on October 28th via SideOneDummy Records. The band first previewed the record with the excellent single “Separate Songs”, and now they’ve let loose another exciting track in “Misprint”.
A deafening rock blitz from start to finish, the song is highlighted by Dave Klyman’s glistening, arena-ready guitars and Jon Loudon’s Craig Finn-meets-Tom Waits punk rock howl. Guest trombonist Benjamin Lanz (Beirut, The National) also adds a nice bit of brassy nuance to the otherwise bristling, riff-filled noise.
