Ryan Adams has a new record to promote, and what better way to do so than by releasing an infomercial. But this isn’t your run-of-the-mill advertisement for Brooklyn’s Hip-Hop Magician, Uncle Magic. Rather, Adams has rounded together Garry Shandling, Jeff Garlin, Don Was, and Bob Mould to act out a hilarious faux plot centered around Adams’ music killing parakeets. The three-minute clip perfectly encapsulates the musician’s zaniness as well as his insane vocal register.
Update: Adams has shared a second video featuring Garlin, Shandling, and Was. This time, Adams’ music turns people into zombies.
