We already know that Aimee Mann and Ted Leo (tka The Both) make quite the excellent wedding guests, but how do their fun-loving skills hold up when it comes to holiday parties? We’ll all find out this December, as Leo joins Mann for her semi-annual series of holiday shows.
This year’s outing is the first such yuletide celebration in over three years. According to Mann’s website, this latest crop of 10 dates will continue in the same format as years past, with a “mixture of Christmas classics, original music, video, sketches, and a host of musical and comedian guests,” plus several other, as-yet-unspecified surprises. Please let it be Santa Leo, or even Ted the Ornery Elf.
The Festivus festivities kick off December 3rd in Los Angeles, with the magic sleigh making its way through San Francisco, Boston, and upstate New York before ending December 15th and 16th with a two-night stay in Alexandria, Virginia.
