What happens when you give comedian Eric Andre $5,000 to make a music video? Apparently this insanely batshit clip for Thundercat’s “Tron Song”, which also happens to double as a tribute to the funky bassist’s pet cat.
Among the bizarre things you’ll encounter in the span of just three minutes: Thundercat taking a dump in his cat’s litter box; Thundercat rocking out in space; Thundercat chugging a bottle of cod liver oil; and Thundercat rubbing soap all over his fully-clothed body. Oh, and be sure to look out for the exploding head and Mortal Kombat reference. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to go into a pet store stoned, but didn’t actually want to do mescaline, then this is the closest you’ll ever get.
