Kings of Leon have been pulling out a lot of special performances on their Mechanical Bull tour thanks to their “Song for the City” program. Each night, they’ve debuted a never-before-played song as requested by their fans. At last night’s penultimate stop at the Hollywood Bowl, the crowd was given an extra treat when Coldplay’s Chris Martin came out for the fan-voted performance of “Talihina Sky”.
Martin played piano and took on some vocal work for the secret track from KoL’s debut, Youth & Young Manhood. He also stayed around for the band’s Only By The Night hit “Notion”. Watch fan shot video of his appearance below.
