Drake has racked up numerous claims to fame over the last year, from hosting the ESPYs to creating an Oxford-recognized new word. As of Friday, the Canadian MC can add another jewel to his crown as he officially surpassed The Beatles in total number of entries on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
Drake’s remix of Atlanta rapper iLoveMakonnen’s “Tuesday” entered the chart at No. 90, giving Drizzy his 72nd appearance on the chart and the eighth most overall. He was previously tied with The Beatles at number eight with 71 entires, but now the title is his alone.
One more entry and he’s tied with Aretha Franklin, though he still has a ways to go before he beats out his current tourmate Lil’ Wayne (122 entries). And he’ll have to do some serious hustling to take the number one spot away from the Glee cast, who have collectively notched 207 Hot 100 charters.
