Eddie Vedder celebrates John Lennon’s birthday with a pair of covers — watch

Thursday would have been the 74th birthday of John LennonEddie Vedder marked the occasion during Pearl Jam’s show in Lincoln, Nebraska on Thursday night by performing a pair of Lennon covers. He first unfurled The Beatles’ “You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away”, which he previously covered for the 2001 film, I Am Sam. Then, he performed a rendition of “Imagine”, a song which he’s been covering quite a bit as of late. Replay both performances below (via JamBase).
