Tonight marks the premiere of Foo Fighters’ new HBO show, Sonic Highways. Chronicling the band’s recording sessions for their new album of the same name, each episode is set in a different US city and features a handful of unique guest musicians. In celebration, immediately following the premiere, Foo Fighters are scheduled to take the stage at Chicago’s intimate venue The Cubby Bear for a special concert that will be live-streamed via HBO’s Facebook page.
Among the songs that will undoubtedly appear on the band’s setlist is “Something From Nothing”, the intense lead single off Sonic Highways which was released yesterday. Stream Foo Fighters’ Cubby Bear show here.
Sonic Highways the album is due out on November 10th via Roswell Records.
For those who will miss out on the concert event, HBO says it will be made available on its various platforms at a later date.
