Inside Llewyn Davis live album to feature Jack White, Marcus Mumford, Conor Oberst, and more

Last September, the Coen Brothers and T-Bone Burnett hosted a star-studded benefit concert at Town Hall in New York City to mark the release of their film, Inside Llewyn Davis. The likes of Jack White, Elvis Costello, Marcus Mumford, The Avett Brothers, and many more artists appeared, performing a mix of their own music, songs that inspired the film, and selections from the Burnett-produced soundtrack.

On January 13th, Nonesuch Records will commemorate the one-night extravaganza with a new live album. Entitled Another Day, Another Time: Celebrating the Music of “Inside Llewyn Davis”, the two-disc release also features performances from Conor Oberst, The Decemberists’ Colin Meloy, Joan Baez, Gillian Welch, Lake Street Dive, Rhiannon Giddens, Willie Watson, The David Rawlings Machine, Punch Brothers, and Secret Sisters. Members of the film’s cast also make appearances, including stars Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, and Carey Mulligan. The first 200 people to pre-order the album will also receive a limited-edition poster.

Proceeds from the concert benefited the National Recording Preservation Foundation, a charity that aims to preserve music and radio archives.

Below, watch a trailer for the Showtime special about the event, which aired last year.
