Monday evening, Morrissey returned to the stage for the first time since rather publicly parting ways with his former label Harvest Records over the summer. (Incidentally, it was also his first concert since canceling his last tour due to illness.) During the show at Lisbon’s Coliseum, Moz’s band had a message for their boss’ former bosses scrawled right on their chests: “Fuck Harvest.” (Via Stereogum.)
The t-shirts were only worn by the band, however, while Morrissey himself wore a dapper white suit and what was reportedly an animal rights sticker. Apparently, he couldn’t find a “Be Kind to Animals or I’ll Kill You” shirt in his size.
For their part, Harvest Records appears to embracing Morrissey’s jab and went ahead and printed their own “Fuck Harvest” t-shirts, which you can buy here. As Stereogum points out, the only other merch being sold by Harvest is from another one of their former bands, Death Grips.
