After his Nashville show Tuesday night, Sam Smith had a bit of sad news for his local Music City fans. Feeling under the weather, he tweeted out that he couldn’t stick around the venue to greet concertgoers and would be hitting the sack early.
Weirdly enough, just a few hours later, the UK crooner tweeted that he was partying it up at a nearby karaoke bar. The conflicting posts left some loyal fans bothered and confused, but for the most part it was more a shrug-worthy offense and less a headline-grabbing #SamSmithTwitterGate. The one great really great thing to come out of the whole situation? Videos of Smith belting out Beyoncé hits at Lonnie’s Western Room!
