Long before Lorde ever felt the mighty satirical gaze of South Park, Kanye West has been a favorite target of creators Matt Parker and Trey Stone. Thanks to his colossal ego and occasional overblownedness, West is perpetually ripe for a good old-fashioned spoofing. He was first reimagined as a “gay fish” in the 2009 episode “Fishsticks” and, last year, appeared alongside his “hobbit” wife Kim Kardashian in “The Hobbit“.
Now, South Park is once again cracking wise at Yeezy’s expense by releasing a special 7-inch for Record Store Day’s Black Friday event on November 28th. One side contains “My Bitch Ain’t No Hobbit”, the show’s parody of Kanye’s Yeezus closer “Bound 2”. It’s backed by “James Cameron”, in which creators take aim at the equally grandiloquent director and his billion-dollar blockbusters.
