Massachusetts indie rock outfit Speedy Ortiz have lent a new song to the fourteenth installment of Famous Class’ ongoing singles series, Less Artists More Condos. Entitled “Doomsday”, it’s slow but still fuzzy track that rivals the best offerings on 2013’s Major Arcana. Listen in below.
The split 7-inch is available on Oct. 7th via Bandcamp, with a B-side “I Took It Off a Record” courtesy of singer/songwriter Chris Weisman. All digital proceeds are going to the Ariel Panero Memorial Fund at VH1’s Save the Music, a charity “dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in America’s public schools.”
