U2 may have apologized for their rather intrusive release of Songs of Innocence, but don’t ever expect them to backpedal on their grandiose performances. This evening, they brought two songs and some glaring light rigs to the set of UK music program Later… with Jools Holland.
First, Bono got all up in the cameraman’s face for the first televised performance of “Volcano”. Then he and the Edge were accompanied by a string ensemble for a rendition of “Every Breaking Wave”. Watch both below.
