Regina Spektor debuts two new songs — watch

It’s been two and a half years since Regina Spektor released her last album, What We Saw From The Cheap Seats, and 18 months since she shared her last original composition, “You’ve Got Time”, aka the theme song to Orange is the New Black. On Wednesday, however, Spektor offered the first sign that her next album may be closer than we think as she debuted two new songs during a New York benefit concert for Doctors Without Borders.

Spektor kicked off her brief, four-song set by teaming with husband/former Moldy Peaches guitarist Jack Dishel for a sentimental folk song that’s tentatively titled “Party Upstairs”. She then made her way to the piano to deliver a more mournful and contemplative ballad reportedly dubbed “Stay”. Watch fan-shot footage of both performances below.
