Whirr release new song “Ease” — listen

Shoegaze outfits Nothing and Whirr have more in common beyond an affinity for My Bloody Valentine. Both feature former Deafheaven member Nick Bassett in their lineup, and, come November 17th, the two bands will share a split 12-inch via Run For Cover Records.

Though it’s decidedly less intense than their recent single “Heavy” (or anything on their latest album, Sway, for that matter), it’s still forceful enough to cause a little whiplash in the pit and showcases the band exploring a slightly new sonic direction.
