The Staves and Justin Vernon perform new song “Make It Holy” — watch


Earlier this week, Justin Vernon announced the star-studded lineup of his inaugural Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival, set to take place this summer in his hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The big news hasn’t distracted Vernon from his other projects, however, specifically his collaboration with English folk trio The Staves.

Last night, the Bon Iver leader joined the Staveley-Taylor sisters on-stage during their concert at London’s Hackney Empire. Together, they performed “Make It Holy”, a chilling folk number which appears on The Staves’ forthcoming Vernon-produced album, If I Was. Watch fan footage below.
