Meg Myers premieres new song “Sorry” — listen

Rising singer-songwriter to release her full-length debut this summer via Atlantic Records

Rising singer-songwriter Meg Myers is gearing up to release her full-length debut, Sorry, this summer through Atlantic Records. The new album follows last year’s Make A Shadow EP, which was anchored by the gritty one-two punch of singles “Desire” and “The Morning After”. In anticipation, the Los Angeles native has revealed the impressive title track.

“My heart is wasted, cut up like a drug/ And your tears they taste like vinegar and blood,” Myers seethes during the song’s opening moments, each word boldly uttered for maximum impact. As she’s proven on her past releases, she’s an artist unafraid to not only talk about her pain, but seemingly become one with it. Listen in below.
