Courtney Barnett played a secret show in Melbourne last night, where she offered her hometown crowd quite the treat: a performance of her forthcoming LP, Sometimes I Sit and Think, Sometimes I Just Sit, in full. The setlist included her previously released singles “Pedestrian at Best” and “Depreston”, as well as the live debut of over seven new songs. Per usual, the Aussie singer-songwriter tore up the stage with equal parts charm and rockin’ energy.
Watch fan-caught footage of the whole show (with the exception of tracks “An Illustration of Loneliness (Sleepless in NY)” and “Kim’s Caravan”) over at the Australian music blog The Dwarf.
