The Chicago Film Critics Association (CFCA) has just announced the 2015 lineup for its annual film festival, which is set to take place at Chicago’s Music Box Theatre from May 1st-7th.
The impressive bill collects an enviable assortment of the best films out of this year’s film festivals. Highlights include Bobcat Goldthwait’s phenomenal documentary, Call Me Lucky; Patrick Brice’s hilarious comedy, The Overnight; Joe Swanberg’s delightful dramedy, Digging for Fire; and Alfonso Gomez-Rejon’s soon-to-be indie hit, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.
Other noteworthy films include Jason Segel’s portrayal of the late David Foster Wallace in The End of the Tour; Michael Fassbender’s mercurial western performance in Slow West; and Douglas Tirola’s fascinating rock ‘n’ roll documentary, Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Story of the National Lampoon.
