Forty-eight hours after David Lynch’s departure from Showtime’s planned reboot of the show, the cast of Twin Peaks has bound together in support. They’ve designed an official cast-run Facebook page in an effort to #SaveTwinPeaks — or more specifically, rattle the suits at Showtime to meet Lynch’s financial demands.
Last night, they posted a video featuring everyone from Madchen Amick (Shelly Johnson) to James Marshall (James Hurley), Sherilyn Fenn (Audrey Horne) to Dana Ashbrook (Bobby Briggs), all sharing their personalized simile of: “Twin Peaks without David Lynch is like…”
Will it work? To quote Agent Dale Cooper, “I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange.” Watch it below.
