It was just 20 days ago that Ty Segall formed a new band with members of OFF! and Melvins. Now, though, he’s announced a new album from one of his many other projects: Fuzz. The follow-up to the trio’s 2013 self-titled debut LP, the aptly titled II is due out October 23rd via In the Red.

The 14-track effort features Segall on drums alongside guitarist Charles Moothart and bassist Chad Ubovich, with each member providing vocals in one form or another. According to press for the album, the songs will explore “all the blank-ations of what will be, or has always been” utilizing “tried and true methods mixed with tongue twisting, teeth shattering, seizure-inducing stabs at the norm. Bathe in the heat wave that is Fuzz, and regret nothing in the time freeze.”

As a sample of what this time freezing heat bath sounds like, the band has shared a pair of lead singles, “Rat Race” and “Pollinate”. You can listen to and download both tracks below. They’re also being offered as instagrat downloads with all pre-orders, which are going on now.
