Yung Lean unveils new song “Crystal Clear Ice” — listen

The Adult Swim Singles series has been going strong since 2010, treating fans of the network to new music from the likes of MF Doom, Mac DeMarco, and Mastodon, among many other artists that don’t start with M. Today they’ve released a new track from Swedish sad-rap wunderkind Yung Lean. Listen or download below.

“Crystal Clear Ice” is the first we’ve heard from Yung Lean since his debut album Unknown Memory was released last year, and the Yung Sherman produced track finds Lean adrift in a sea of wintery synths. He laments not wanting to use his phone, discusses winning the Nobel Prize, and raps about snowmen, so it’s business as usual for the Sadboys ringleader.

Earlier releases in the Adult Swim Singles 2015 series included Kitty and Owen Pallett, and upcoming weeks will see new tracks from Flying Lotus, Slayer, a SOPHIE remix of a Sia song, and Run the Jewels. Stay tuned for coverage of those releases.
